Penn State campuses celebrate, commemorate Black History Month

Students at 菠菜网比较大的平台 participated in a service project on 马丁·路德·金. Day to honor King’s life and legacy. The campus joined with the Wilkes-Barre NAACP, 奥唐纳律师事务所, the Wilkes-Barre Health Department, and the Friedman Jewish 社区 Center to assemble blankets and collect canned goods that will be donated to Keystone Mission, Ruth’s Place and Sarah’s Table.

‘Frederick Douglass Project’ free virtual event to be held Feb. 8

Emmy Award-winning actor Keith David will deliver a dramatic reading of a speech by the legendary 19th-century American abolitionist in “The Frederick Douglass Project.” The one-time virtual event will be held at 6 p.m. 星期三,2月. 8、通过变焦.
