We are pleased to offer students health promotion programs that are designed to increase personal awareness and assist students in choosing behaviors and environments that promote health and reduce risk. Such programs contribute to a healthy learning environment.
Immunization and Health History Records
All incoming Penn State students should fill out the online Health History form, and must provide proof of immunization against measles, mumps, and rubella. 一些学生, such as student athletes or students in certain health-related majors may be asked to submit additional immunization information. How to complete the Health History form and submit immunization records
- 学生 should complete the online Health History form and submit all immunization records 通过 myUHS, logging in using their Penn State account credentials.
- 学生 should upload image files of their official immunization records and, 如果适用的话, any positive antibody blood test results (titers).
- 请注意 that all immunization records must be in English.

学生健康保险
Adequate health insurance provides students with security and an enhanced sense of well-being during their time at Penn State. 出于这个原因, the University requires all international students to have health insurance and strongly recommends that all U.S. students have health insurance coverage that is accepted by providers on or near the campus that they attend.
Each year, students are required to submit health insurance coverage 通过 LionPATH. If your student does not have adequate coverage, we highly encourage them to enroll in the Penn State 学生健康保险 Plan (SHIP). 这艘船, designated specifically for students, offers comprehensive health insurance at a competitive price with a wide network of providers across the United States.
The Student Insurance Advocate provides outreach and education around the importance of health insurance for students. Support is available to students at all campuses for consultation and assistance in identifying insurance options, including the 学生健康保险 Plan, 医疗补助计划, or Affordable Care Act marketplace plans.

个人心理咨询 provides short-term individual counseling, crisis intervention and prevention, and consultation services for the campus student community. Referrals for longer-term therapy, or for psychiatric consultation, can be made.
咨询 services can help students resolve personal concerns that may interfere with their academic progress, 社会发展, and satisfaction at Penn State. Some of the more common concerns include difficulty or conflicts with friends, 室友, or family members; stress, depression and/or anxiety; sexual identity; lack of motivation or difficulty relaxing, concentrating or studying; eating disorders; sexual assault and sexual abuse recovery; and uncertainties about personal values and beliefs. We are also available to assist students in making difficult decisions, resolving relationship issues, dealing with academic pressures, and other personal concerns.
